2:30 PM On Campus, Online or Both: Whole of Program Blended Learning Project at Western Sydney University
Western Sydney University is concluding the implementation of a 3 year project to offer the Bachelor of Communication as on-campus or online on a unit by unit basis. The project involved creating communities of practice among academic staff to design best practice online materials and delivery methods. In this session Lynette will discuss the journey they have been on and the challenges encountered along the way as well as the lessons learnt.
- Analytics being run through the LMS to get a better understanding of student engagement
- Working with teams consisting of a subject matter expert, information designer and a app developer to create simple, clean and familiar formats
- Assessing the quality and effectiveness for the students
