5:40 PM Improving the Quality of Blended Delivery and Encouraging Sharing between Schools at Federation University
A blended course combines face-to-face elements such as lectures and tutorials with some online learning elements. In this session Beth will talk about how Federation University is making significant steps towards standardizing and setting up procedures for blended learning which can then be scaled across schools. This session will look at customizing blended learning that is shared between schools.
- Setting up structures and process for blended delivery across schools
- Working on linking why blended learning is more effective and the use of certain tools
- Getting academics to write manuals rather than learning designers to encourage transdisciplinary collaboration
