1:00 PM Framework for Blended Learning: As Agile, Responsive and Collaborative Approach to Couse and Unit Design
There are multiple definitions, variations and methodologies for implementing blended learning. In this Master Class Dr Suneeti and Anselm will go into detail about the methodology they have created for successful implementation of blended learning projects. The approach looks at leveraging technology and encourages Active Learning in units at all stages of:
- Design: collaboration between teaching teams to create unit Story Boards
- Development: Dual pathway access is created on the Story Board to reify ideas and encourage a ‘storytelling’ approach
- Experience: Provide students with a consistent learning experience
- Empowerment: provide opportunities for staff development, training, workshops and drop in sessions

- Identification of challenges and stumbling blocks, as well as success strategies
- Checklists and professional development materials
- Illustration of before and after improvements as exemplars
